Lacrosse almost over...

Today was the end of the regular season of LAX. Both the boys finished their season's in 1st place. There is one tournament in two weeks and then we get a reprieve. The boys did great. During Preston's game, Adin and Mia practiced their long-jumping abilities. Hard to tell that Mia is recovering from surgery!

Father's and Son's a Success!

Last night I took my 3 boys to Father's and Son's up near Bailey, Co. Connor's the only one that caught a fish and it was a keeper! We had a lot of fun until we had to wake up so early to start our Saturday craziness.

Mia's Tonsils are Gone!

Mia started out cheerful, but you can see how she was after the surgery. She's actually doing very well. She's done better than any of the boys. You'll notice the bandage on "bunny's" throat as well. She had surgery too.

Inside the head of an almost-3-year-old

While I was finishing my run on the treadmill in the basement this morning, Luke was playing with an Elmo stuffed animal. I heard him say, "This is Elmo the Younger." And then it evolved into "This is Elmo the Indiana Jones Younger." Which sounds very random, if you don't know what he's been exposed to lately, but there is actually a logical thought process. The boys have recently watched a show called "The Adventures of the Young Indiana Jones", which explains how IJ was tied into the name of an ancient prophet and a Sesame Street character.
One more reason I appreciate being a stay-at-home-mom.... I wouldn't understand half of the things my kids talk about if I wasn't around them 24-7. :)

Connor and Preston Wow the Judges!

Connor and Preston had quite the day yesterday. Both played spectacular lacrosse early in the day leading their respective teams to more wins (Connor's team took over 1st place, Preston's team remains undefeated and #1). They then traveled to Denver University and played phenomenal piano to earn honor awards for their piano playing prowess! Connor even earned the right to play in the Honors Concert next Saturday!

On the Connor front...He was called by our Bishop today to serve as the Deacon's Quorum President! He's feeling overwhelmed. He's only the 11th oldest Deacon in his quorum (there are only 2 others younger than him) and doesn't feel like he's the best man for the job (sounds like most all of us). We know he'll do great!

Keep Mia in your prayers tonight, she's having a tonsillectomy tomorrow morning. It's too bad, she's been so adorable lately. Now, she'll be like a little tiger cub!

Where Are the Cute Pictures?

Don't you guys think the "Bag Lady" picture has been on here long enough?
For crying out loud I have 12 darling grandkids that's faces should be on here,
not me having a nap on a hotel couch in Amsterdam!

Love you All!
