a couch in the hotel by the elevators waiting for our
ride to the boat.
Our home in Holland. A river barge, the Charlemagne.
Kuckenhof gardens. one of so many unbelievable shots
this just may be the garden of Eden.
Finally a pair of shoes that fit.
Typical Holland. Windmills for everything. Grinding, pumping,
sawing wood. Everything.
We are back. We had a great time once we got there and after we got home. I have decided that this country does not want people to travel. It is such a hassle to get on and off a plane. Especially when you have customs and all the rigor ma roll of security. However I have found a goofier system than the US. In Holland they set up a series of stations and interview every passenger getting on board a plane. How ridiculous can you get. At least they do not make you take off your shoes.

The cruise was very relaxing. There were only 31 people on board and each day the guide from the boat took everyone interested in a walking or bus tour. The scenery along the canals was fantastic and the flowers were like a bit of heaven.
Unfortunately we are back to the routine and totally wiped out. We arrived home at 1:10 AM saturday morning and are now completely off time. It is 9:50 AM and mom is ready for a nap. So much for traveling and old age.
