14!

I've never seen anyone so excited about turning 14! He wanted out of the Deacon's Quorum! Anyway, turning 14 probably wasn't the most exciting day of his life, but I'm sure proud of him as my son. Each one of my children are awesome, but there's something really special about that first child. He continues to be such a great example to the rest of the family and me and I'm very proud to have him as my son.

I am sorry we didn't call to tell you Happy Birthday 3 weeks ago! We didn't forget you-- we saw your picture on the calendar and told Lukey, "Today is Alec's birthday!" And then we didn't do anything about it! I hope you know we love you and wish you were closer so you and Luke could play more often.

Connor's Cross Country

So, we haven't been updating the blog, but Connor has been doing some serious butt-kicking down here! So far he has 3 1st place finishes and 2 2nd place finishes! His PR and SCHOOL record for the 1.5 mile course is 9:08. Yes, that is just over 6 minute miles! He's loving it!
