Another One Down!

I'm now done with another phase of my life! I finally taught Mia how to ride her bike without training wheels. We tried last summer, but it didn't work out so well. Today, it went great! She just needed some alone time with Dad and no brother's around (they're visiting Grandma and Grandpa Stewart this week). Her smile says it all!

A REALLY Talented Weaver!

I'm not sure how well this video has transferred. I can't seem to get it to work well. This is a 30 second clip of my son Preston doing a solo as part of his choir group from school. I was so impressed with him. This is something that I could never even imagine doing. My personal opinion is that he rocked it! Alyson and me were very proud parents. This is a song from Wicked and he hammed it up!

Another Father and Son Domination!

Connor and I did another triathlon on Friday night. I took 3rd overall, 1st in the "old men" group while Connor took 6th overall and 1st in the 1-19 age group! Connor had THE fastest overall run and was only 1:40 behind me! It sure was fun racing with my son! At the turn-around of the run I saw Connor and he gave me a high five and said, "I'm coming after you!" Nothing like running scared that your 15 year old son is coming behind you!

Adin is 9!

During church today Adin made his schedule for his birthday! So far, he's right on schedule! We're having steak and shrimp for his birthday feast tonight (perfect for the Boulder Bolder tomorrow!). This kid is a lot of fun, even at 9!

Weaver's Kill Pelican Fest Triathlon!

Our Medals! Connor took 3rd in his Age Group. I took 1st.
I LOOK slower than Connor!
FAST!
Ready for the swim!

Today was a lot of fun for us! This was Connor's first REAL triathlon against the big boys and he came out awesome! He had the 2nd fastest run OVERALL! If he improves his transition's he'll really kill it. He had faster bike and run splits than the 2 guys that beat him. They only beat him in the swim and transition times! He almost beat me! I'm not sure how much longer I can hold him off though!
