Bragging About Our Son!

Well, we are very proud of our oldest son and we'd like to boast on his behalf. Today, Connor received a letter that states, "Dear Connor, Congratulations! As a result of your outstanding academic achievements and demonstrated leadership potential, you have been selected to represent Core Knowledge Charter School and the state of Colorado at the 2007 Junior National Young Leaders Conference this summer in Washington, D.C." It then goes on to tell him that he will have the opportunity to meet people such as Mitt Romney and others during his week long excursion to our nation's capital. Our biggest problem is that NO PARENTS are allowed! It's a little scary for Alyson and I, but Connor wants to do it. It sounds great! Congrats Connor!

Major Celebration a couple of weeks early !!!!

Happy 38th to this fine looking couple.

We are going to the sun because the curse of Michigan has ruined Colorado. Too much cold, too much snow, too much wind, too many gray days. Anyway it is almost our 38th anniversary and we are going to celibrate with a cruise to the warmth of Mexico and Belize. We leave early saturday morning and we are taking our warm weather clothes. We will have a nice vacation in the Cayman's courtesy of Adam's christmas gift at the end of March, but this is our private time away to celibrate and try to save the marriage, again;)

Paige's New American Girl Doll

Paige received a beautiful American Girl doll from grandma Nori for Christmas, however, the doll had a head full of curls that were rapidly turning into dread-locks. We contacted the company and they told us to send the doll back and they would replace it with a doll more suited to our needs. It came in the mail today...isn't she gorgeous!

One More Thing to Add to the Schedule

I would like to get Timmy's temple work done some time after his anniversary.

Scheduling!

Hey everyone, we are trying to organize our schedule and are worried about getting everthing in. We need to know some things and you probably need to know some things from us. We won't bore you with some of our travels, but we are going to Derek's graduation arriving in Lansing on May 2nd, and flying out of Lansing on May 4th. Everyone (Cami and Jason, me, Alyson, Connor, Dad, Mom, Derek, Britt) are doing the Bolder Boulder on May 28th (do the Pelican Fest Sprint Triathlon with me the Saturday before if you want). On July 14th Derek and I are doing the Triple Bypass ride from Evergreen to Avon, Colorado. We need to know when Hannah's baptism is? Preston will be baptized on Saturday, July 28th. Connor will likely be ordained a deacon on his birthday Friday, Sept. 21st because we're going to Guatemala on the 22nd. I'm taking Dad, Connor, and Connor's grandfather to the priesthood session in Salt Lake on the 1st weekend of October. Let us know some of your plans as well so that we can get this year planned out.
