Where are you? Grandpa and Grandma need some input about the first few days (weeks) of school. Where are all of those "First Day of School" pictures I'm sure you all took? Okay..........
get on the ball :)

How is the Grizzweaver gene transfered?
I just want to know. Alyson wasn't even born into this family and yet she carries the gene. Is it transferred by touch? By marriage? Do my children have any chance of surviving? As you you all know Alyson had a break-down with my BMW just outside the booming metropolis called Wamsutter, Wyoming. It so happens that earlier in the day I decided to make sure that my car would have no problems at all so I went to replenish the coolant levels only to have it boil over and drop the cap somewhere into the guts of the engine. I had me and 4 other guys looking over the entire engine and could not find the darn cap. Well, my feeling is that the darn cap slipped into the fan outside of Wamsutter and caused the aforementioned disaster. So, my wife goes for a ride in a tow truck from Wamsutter to Rock Springs with Biff the stinky tow truck driver. Who knows what cost I'm in for. At least Alyson is in Provo now and safe. I called Steve's Auto in Rock Springs and he still doesn't even know what the car needs, he's not sure if he'll "get to it today." So, what are the chances that I'll have the car ready by Saturday? "I dunno...," said Steve. The Grizzweaver gene is alive and well. Good luck to my children.

Hannah...Baptized

Oh where oh where did the time go? As her mother, it is hard for me to believe Hannah is already old enough to be so grown up.
We had a great day with family and friends. We are grateful to all of you for your phone calls and words of encouragement to Hannah. She looked beautiful and radiant. Shelby did a tremendous job on her talk about Baptism and Paige said a wonderful closing prayer. Congratulations to Hannah! We love you!

Big Day for Preston!

We wish that the whole family could have been here, but know how life is. Preston turned 8 yesterday! He had a great birthday (he got that beautiful red bike you see above), but today was even better. Preston was baptized and then he got to play with some of his cousins. Both grandparents gave great talks and after the baptism, we ate a lot of great food!

Happy Birthday, Shelby! (Belated!)
Happy Pioneer Day!
This would be the perfect Christmas card picture, if only Derek was here.
It was taken at Fred & Nori's ward pioneer day party.
(I won't steal their thunder by posting theirs, too. I'll let them do that at their discretion!)
You can see here that Luke's stern expression was for real. Reid was in a good mood, but the photographer told him to pose like a "shy boy", and he took his role very seriously.
