DAD Home and Doing Well

Dad is home from his knee surgery and doing very well. There was a quite large miniscal tear that "pac man" chewed away so now the pain should be gone. There is a lot of wear and tear in there as well which also can cause pain but hopefully it will be back to the "normal" amount of pain now. 3 or 4 days off of it and he should be good as new.

Gee, I wonder if football, wrestling, lifting two adult sons dozens of times a day and a big belly had anything to do with that??? Or how about just 58 years of life!

Family Reunion Dilemma

I asked Cami to arrange for a family reunion for this summer and she's been working hard at trying to find something. THANKS CAMI!

Derek's schedule (understandably) is very tight so we've been looking at August at his request.

Problem: He's only available August 10 to 16 and Adam's kids start school on August 13.

Any other ideas or suggestions? 3 or 4 days are adequate, but we need to get on it ASAP.

Mia got her Bed!

Mia got her bed yesterday and I have never seen anyone so excited in my life! She even got her princess sheets to put on it! She couldn't be happier. She even stayed in it all night long.

Steamboat!

We had a blast in Steamboat. Connor, Preston and me got in 5 straight days of snowboarding! Adin did 4, Alyson did 2, and Mia did none. Alyson would have got in more, but dumb me forgot to register Mia for daycare and there was none available. The kids did some bungee jumping and we played in the pool a lot! While we were there, they hit their record snowfall and we had a ball in the fresh powder! We love Steamboat.

So, here we are for Easter. We were very worn out from a week up in the mountains, but we made it to Mom and Dad's and then had Easter there. The kids love seeing their cousins!
