CABO!

Well, we've been having so much fun that we forgot to blog! Here's what we've done...Alyson and me spent Friday and Saturday at the pool and eating good food, Sunday we went to church at the local branch and then picked up Derek and Britt at the airport. We just toured the area and ate some good food. Monday, we went into Cabo and toured the downtown, laid on the beach, swam in the ocean, ate, and set up some activities for the rest of the week. Then, we went to Land's End (look on the map where Baja California end's and that's where we were) and we did a little bouldering action to get over to Lover's Beach to hang out and watch the waves crash. We were there for quite a while before heading back and eating some more. Tuesday, we went diving (me) and snorkeling out by Land's end. There were sea lions barking at us and stinking up the place and lots of fish. We went back to Cabo and ate and then did a little shopping. We went back to our place and ate again. Yesterday was great! We went on some ATV's out on the beach and through the desert! We had a blast! You should have seen Britt and Alyson tearing it up! We got dirty and now understand why Mom loves four-wheelin' so much! Today, we plan on just enjoying the beach and sun for one last day before heading home. Derek and me plan on trying to surf as well! Wish you could all be here!

Happy Birthday, birthday Girls!!!!

Happy Birthday to one one my favorite little people and her cute little cousin. Wow cannot believe Jan-ee (don't want to be too "UTAH") is already one. We love you girls!!!

Lots of money for lots of Misery

The water bottles were free

Fit for me like a new shoe.  Fitting for a bike is very in.

Here is my new bike.  I realize that the whole bike is less money than one of Adam's wheels, but I cannot believe I spent as much for a bike as I did.  My first bike was built from parts I scrounged from the junk yard and from neighbors.  I never had a new bike until after I was married.  My first car only cost $65.  Am I sure I can justify a $2000+ bike?  I think the world has gone mad.  It did not even come with a seat, just the razor blade they call a seat.  My butt hurts just thinking about sitting on this for 112 miles.  crazy dad.

Preston scores ONLY goal for Hawks 1st game!

The Parker Hawks were down and almost out when, suddenly, Preston Weaver grabbed the ball, wove through the defense like only a true WEAVER can and shot one of the most beautiful goals that I have ever witnessed in a lacrosse game! The score was now 8-1, but the Hawks jumped on Preston as if he had just won the MVP of the Super Bowl! It was a sight to behold and I was the proud parent of THE man! Way to go PRESTON WEAVER!

Our Steamboat Vacation

Come to find out, this is the only picture that we took of just Adin! He loved our hot tub! I wish I would have taken some pictures of him skiing, he does SOOO well! He loved playing Marco Polo in the pool too!
Mia skiing! You'll notice that she matches from head to toe in purple and pink! We found a purple Dora helmet and that was icing on the cake!
Connor cuttin' through the deep fresh stuff! You should see this kid do his 360 grab! I have pictures, but they don't do it justice!
Preston was right there with his big brother every cut of the way!
We have a tradition at Steamboat where with go to the 8th Street Steakhouse and we, WHAT?, cook our own steaks! They love it! The funny thing is that they seem to eat better when they've cooked there own steaks! Mia was over eating her Mac and Cheese, but she helped Adin with the steak he had cooked.

Our little Spring Break adventure to Steamboat was a hit! The biggest news is that Mia stayed in ski school for all 3 days! The other news was the snow! I snowed from the time we left until now. I have never boarded in such powder in my life! The great thing is that we were all able to stay together. Yesterday, Adin was doing a BLACK DIAMOND run in 18 inches of powder with me, Connor and Preston. Alyson had hurt her leg and had just missed this (she's the smart one that would never let us do a run of this nature), but we all did it! Adin was a trooper (he did have a little melt-down when it seemed at a point that the run actually never was going to end), but he did great! He can't wait to tell everyone that he did a black diamond run in a blizzard! We ate a lot of good food and topped it off with nearly 3 hours in the hot springs last night! Our trip home was an adventure with all of the snow, but it really wasn't a big deal.

IRONWEAVER'S!!

Wonder's never cease! It is true, DAD (yes our Dad), Derek, and me are doing the newest Ironman that was added today. I couldn't sleep after talking to Dad and challenging him to this crazy event so I came in to look at my e-mail and found a copy of the registration for Dad at the 1st ever Ironman St. George, Utah to be held on May 1, 2010! We all will have to watch this transformation take place as we see our IronDad take this 140.6 total miles and kick it's butt! I know he will do it. It's not too late Danny! Come join our team! Tyson and Timmy will be so proud! I just can't wait to see Dad in his Lycra Skin-suit!
