Disney World

The Orlando Temple is Beautiful!
The Dance Party at MGM studios was a big hit!
The kids couldn't ever make it back to the hotel without falling asleep every night.
Animal Kingdom!
We had the streets of the Magic Kingdom to ourselves on an early morning where we had breakfast with the princesses in the castle.
Belle became one of Mia's favorite princesses.
Mia ran into the Fairy Godmother...
She bibbity bobbity booped her!

We had a great time at Disney World. Wish you all could have joined us.

Some more Disney pics...

Belle and mini-Belle!
Pirate Adam!
This is on Pirates of the Carribean, but Mia did this anytime any ride got remotely scary!
We tried to pack everything into our last day. Our flight left Orlando at 7:30pm on Thursday, so we got up early and hit Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and MGM before we had to get to the airport. We got off the bus at MGM to some serious rain! We got wet, but had a lot of fun.

Christmas is coming!!!

I was just wondering if any one is interested in drawing names for cousins to exchange gifts this Christmas? I have been re-evaluating Christmas at the Richards' home and we spend way too much time shopping and not enough time celebrating Christ. Although we love buying a gift for each one of our wonderful cousins, I thought this might relieve some pressure during those hectic holiday months. Let me know if you are game!!!
Thanks!

Derek's 30th!

I took this cake and decorated at work for Derek at their lunch-time lecture.
Well, I'm a few weeks behind, but here are the pics from Derek's surprise party. I felt pretty good about it, considering that he didn't really figure out the surprise until just a few minutes before we walked in the house. We had a lot of fun eating and talking, and Derek said it felt good to remember that his life does consist of more than just medicine and work!

Danny, Britt, Derek, Adam, Alyson

Derek's childhood friends:
Josh, Derek, Patrick, Brendan

Derek, Britt, Nicki, Mason (another resident that Derek works with)

After the party with Dad and Mom
... Reid is ready for bed, Luke looks like he ate enough Skittles, chocolates, and cake to keep going for a few more hours!

Call for Calendar Pages

I need to get going on the 2008 Weaver Family Calendar. I know Shelby has expressed interest in doing a page... if anyone else would like to do a page, please let me know and let me know what theme you want to do so I won't duplicate it. You can email me if you want so it can still be a surprise to everyone else. Please have your page sent to me by November 1. FYI, you can use 3-D embellishments (i.e. buttons, ribbons, etc... they still copy well.)

Also, I will burn CDs this week of photos that I've taken of family get-togethers from the past year, as well as any photos of the Microweavers that you might need for your page-- let me know if there are any specific types of shots you'd like me to include.

Happy Crafting!
