Back from my week in the wilds. A whole week with Scott. the longest time I have spent with my brother since we were little kids and I am not sure we even saw each other every day for a week way back then. The fishing was great and the state of Alaska is amazing.
As you all know by now, Alec fell and hit his chin while climbing up a water slide at Seven Peaks yesterday. The little ding cost 100 bucks and five hours of precious sleeping time! It required five stitches and lots of TLC. Alec is doing fine and quite proud of his war wounds. Just thought we'd share...
Connor kicked some serious butt today! He is loving Middle School and has found his place on his Cross Country team. He got 1st place today in his 1st ever meet! What a stud!
For at least three years in a row, we have got the boat from Mom and Dad in August just as the summer is ending. We take the family out and I realize how much I really love being out on the lake. I have so many great memories that it's incredible, yet we only end up having a few days to enjoy it! I hope I've learned my lesson and I'll get my kids out earlier next summer. They love it! Preston ended up getting up on his 1st try on skiis. They loved the tube as well. We could not get Mia to go out there though, maybe next year!
