Happy April

Here are a few fun pictures from the past week.... We sold the Bronco II yesterday... the boys had no idea what was going on, and when the guy drove away in it, Ethan asked what he was doing, and he burst out crying when he realized were no longer ours. So Reid followed his brother's lead and held a grudge against us the rest of the day, and was afraid were going to sell the van too, and then not have a car to drive.

This is a great little children's museum that Grandma and Papa will have to take the boys to when we're packing in a few weeks.

Our Michigan boys!

Uncle Adam, shield your eyes... this may distress you....

Be sure to check out the Hatch Blog and see our nature walk yesterday morning before conference. Yesterday was what would have been Anthony's 22nd birthday, and he loved to feed the ducks, so it was a nice way to celebrate his birthday and think about him. The thing I forgot to mention on that blog was that as we were loading up to come home, we saw a van full of handicapped young men leaving at the same time, and Derek commented that it feels strange that we don't have that as part of our lives anymore. Our brothers will never be forgotten.

I hope you're all recovering from your trip... and Cami, I bet you guys are so excited for yours. Which island are you going to?

I shielded my eyes. We hope that conference was good. We ran into an LDS man in Houston on our way back that said that Pres. Holland's talk was great and that there is a great quote from it. I'll be reading it over the next week. We had a very long travel day yesterday. Did Derek cry when the Bronco left?

boy, if the kids cried over the Bronco, they will really be confussed over leaving Michigan. We can not wait to come and get you all. Unfortunately, you are leaving a really neat place when the weather is good. These are some terrific shots.

If they are that upset about the Bronco, how are they going to react to leaving friends, the house etc? The pictures are great. I also really enjoyed the pictures on the Hatch Blog. What a beautiful place and what a nice tribute to Anthony. These children who have left us have such an incredible effect on those of us who had to stay behind. We are all blessed to have our lives touched by perfect human beings.

Don't worry...my kids cry when we sell cars, too! They get really attached to objects. Hannah cried when Jason bought me a new robe for christmas because that meant we would be getting rid of the old one...go figure!
We are going on a Hawiian cruise. We will be going to Honolulu, Kauai, Hilo, Kona and Maui. Anything you highly recommend us seeing or doing? Anyone?

Hike a little of the Napali coast on Kauai, you can go about 1 mile in to a great little beach and even take a little swim there. It's gorgeous. Kauai is my favorite. Spend all of your time on the north end near Princeville.
